Project Description

The increasingly inaccurately named iso8211reader project contains two libraries:
  • iso8211pcl - a 'reader' library for iso8211 files (using the same pattern as 'readers' in the .NET framework e.g. System.IO.StreamReader).
  • S57pcl - a library which uses the iso8211reader to process S-57 files and allows the contents to be read with higher-level constructs using .NET idioms.

Both libraries are compiled against the Portable Class Library and so should work with the full .NET Framework on the Desktop, in Windows Phone and in Silverlight.
